James A. Randall, obituary

ROCKLAND – James A. Randall, 55, died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 2, 2016, at his home. 

Born in Rockland, June 6, 1961, he was the son of Floyd and Waneta Nason Randall.  Educated locally, he attended Rockland High School. 

For many years, Jim worked in the Bangor area for Cassidy Foundations, pouring concrete foundations.  After returning to Rockland, he has worked for many years with his brother in their carpentry business. Together, they even built their own home. 

Jim was an accomplished mechanic, always working on cars.  He also loved to tinker and keep projects going around the house. 

He was an avid WWE fan and was pleased to have gone to a live show with his brother and sister-in-law.  He had a happy personality, and loved to laugh and tell jokes with his brother.  He will be missed by all who loved him.

Predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Floyd Randall, II, William Randall, Delmar Randall and Jack Randall; his sister Georgia Ripley; Jim is survived by his siblings, Tony Randall and his wife, Michelle, Priscilla Davis, Wanda Bridges, Darlene Whiffen and her husband, Jonathan, all of Rockland; his fiancée Stephanie Dawson, of Rockland; his sons, Ryan Morse, James Emerson and Joshua Emerson; his daughters, Kelly Morse and her companion, Shane Callahan, Lillian Loring and her husband, Everett, and Dorothy Elderkdge and her husband Jason; grandchildren Brayden Callahan, Jordan and Richie Elderidge, Ryan and Kyliann Loring, and Zack Emerson; as well as many  nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to visit from noon to 1 p.m., with a service held at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
