James H. Denman, obituary

APPLETON— James H. Denman Jr. of Appleton, died on September 22, 2017 after a long illness.

James enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1954, serving four years in Oahu Hawaii and was honorably discharged in 1958. James then attended The University of Hartford, received the High Regents Honor Award and received a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1962.

James loved the outdoors, and spent a lot of time fishing and hunting with his Yorkie, Mutley.

James was predeceased by his parents James and Ethel Denman and one son, Timothy Edward. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Antionette; sons Ronald Denman of Higganum, Ct, Michael Denman of Appleton; James Denman of Union; and daughters, Diane Tyrrell of New Britain CT; and Susan Bogan of Old Saybrook CT. He also leaves behind his brother Donald of Purcellville VA, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

A graveside service with U.S. Navy military honors was held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Camden.
