ROCKLAND - Tom Ulichny operates the Midcoast Music Academy at 275 Main St. in Rockland. To him, it’s about providing the highest quality music instruction to students of all ages and skill levels in a fun, relaxed and creative atmosphere, regardless of financial constraints and with a contemporary approach to learning.

He joins us Monday morning to talk about the school’s scholarship program

In his own words: "We founded Midcoast Music Academy because we are passionate about music education, and we believe music inspires community and learning. And when we say ‘community music school’ we mean it. We believe that an exceptional music education should be available to any committed student, regardless of financial constraints. Toward that end, we actively fundraise to support our scholarship students, and we are growing our scholarship program every year."
