Islesboro Police beat: Deer-vehicle accidents

    The Islesboro Police Department received or responded to 33 calls for service in October. Listed below is a summary of the calls for this time period. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
     
    Oct. 1
     
    Officer Matthew Nadeau responded to a criminal trespass complaint on Hermits Point Road.
     
    Public Safety Director Porter received a report of a car/deer crash on Ferry Road; non-reportable crash.
     
    Oct. 2
     
    Porter received a disturbance complaint on Jennys Lane.
     
    Oct. 13
     
    Porter received a suspicious complaint on Wood Lane; this case is under investigation at this time.
     
    Oct. 14
     
    Porter responded to a car/deer crash on West Bay Road.
     
    Porter responded to a suspicious complaint on Main Road.
     
    Oct.15
     
    Porter responded to a car/deer crash on Main Road.
     
    Porter received a criminal trespass complaint on Ferry Road.
     
    Oct. 23
     
    Porter conducted an agency assist for the Maine State Police.
     
    Oct. 24
     
    Frank Start, 33, of Islesboro, was issued a summon by Officer Eric Bonney for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
     
    Porter responded to a car/deer crash on Pendleton Point Road.
     
    Porter responded to a car/deer crash on Mill Creek Road.
     
    Porter also summonsed Mr. Michael Fuller, 57, of Islesboro, for failure to register a motor vehicle.
     
    Porter conducted an agency assist with the Hampden Police Department.
     
    Oct. 30
     
    Porter responded to a traffic hazard on East Shore Drive.
