CAMDEN — Irene Newburn-Boutin, 75, beloved wife of Andrew L. Boutin, died May 24, 2017, at her home following a battle with cancer. Born in Schenectady, N.Y., on July 12, 1941, she was the daughter of Stephen and Ida (Kowalski) Kotarski. Following high school graduation, she attended business school for several years.

Irene married John Newburn, an attorney, and worked in his legal practice for a number of years when they lived in California. After retiring, they moved to Vermont.

Following the death of her husband, Irene moved to Camden, where she joined the Camden Garden Club. She later met and married Andrew F. Boutin and was a member of the Women's Club at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church.

Irene's hobbies included traveling and cooking. She looked forward to preparing and serving different types of cuisine. Irene will be remembered as a kind and loving person who was always there for people in need.

Surviving is her husband, Andy F. Boutin of Camden; her mother, Ida Kotarski; and her sister, Laura Foster, both of Schenectady, N.Y.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Stephen Kotarski; and her sister, Evelyn Patapow.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
