BROOKS — Irene D. Brown, of Brooks, our beloved mother, passed peacefully to her eternal home in heaven on Feb. 7, 2016, with her loving family by her side.

Irene was predeceased by her husband, Carl Brown. Irene was a loving mother to her daughter, Cynthia Greenacre and her husband, Miles; and to her daughter, Claudette Aurie. Irene was a wonderful Nana to her grandchildren, Kelci Desmarais and her husband, Mike, Darci Greenacre, Juliana Aurie, Robbie Aurie and Alexis Aurie.

It was our mother's written wish to have a private graveside service for immediate family members.

Those who wish may make a memorial contribution in Irene's memory to Brooks Bible Church, 30 Jewell Street, Brooks, ME 04921 or to Beacon Hospice, 289 State Street, Suite B, Bangor, ME 04401.
