ROCKLAND – A person who was rushed to the hospital after falling from the deck of the Time Out Pub, in Rockland, in the early hours of Sunday morning was able to speak to an officer yesterday, according to Police Chief Bruce Boucher.

Chief Boucher confirmed Tuesday, March 27, that the police department’s investigation of the fall is almost concluded. The person’s identify remains undisclosed pending investigation conclusion.

Around 12:30 a.m., Sunday, March 25, several police officers responded to the late-night call at the busy Pub that overlooks Rockland Harbor. That response prompted a two-day investigation, including a request to the public for additional information.

This is the second time in three years that a patron of the Pub has fallen from that deck, which is estimated to be between 16 feet and 20 feet above the pavement. In 2015, a man died from injuries sustained within the same vicinity.

This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
