SWANVILLE — Inez (Kelley) Tower, 92, of Swanville, passed away on April 8, 2016, in Belfast surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pembroke on Jan. 17, 1924, one of 10 children born to Isaac and Almyra (Lakin) Kelley.

Inez married Clifton Tower and they had 10 children together. Inez worked for several years at Maplewood Poultry and Stinson Canning. She enjoyed Sunday and holiday dinners at her daughter Joanne's. She was also fond of celebrating her friends' birthdays, going to lunch, and rides with Joanne, Harold and Shirley. Inez loved beano, especially when she won. She was also quite the rock collector.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her sons, Paul and Sonny; her daughter, Deanna; and nine siblings.

Inez is survived by her loving children, Jeannette, Shirley, Joanne, Ronnie, Harold, Christine and Brenda; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren; and special nephew, Leroy. She also leaves behind her special friends, Nancy York, Sally Scott, Ellen Porter and Barbara Heald-Vellaro.

A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Pen Bay Medical Center for their care provided during her stay, and to the staff at Tall Pines.

At her request, there will be no funeral service. A graveside interment will be held in the spring.
