WASHINGTON – Holly Grace Bartlett, 33, passed away July 8, 2014, at her home with her mom at her side.

Born in Washington on Aug. 1, 1980, she was the daughter of Brian Cleo and Katherine Anne Bilodeau Bartlett. As a child Holly grew up in both Washington and Union, and was a 1998 graduate of Medomak Valley High School.

Holly spent much of her time with her grandparents, Gerald and Marlene Bartlett, and her aunt, Jolene Murray.

She loved sports, especially soccer, in which she excelled. Boat rides on the lake also brought her great pleasure. Holly was fearless, outgoing and competitive.

As an adult she loved the city, riding her motorcycle and scooter, her cat, traveling, sushi and most of all her family and friends.

She worked as a chef in various restaurants from Maine to Arizona, and was also a jewelry artisan. She excelled at college in Southern Maine.

She will be remembered as someone who loved to party and have fun.

Holly let no grass grow under her feet; and she has many friends both young and old that loved her. She will be missed by all.

Predeceased by her father, Brian Bartlett; and an aunt, Susan Bilodeau; Holly is survived by her mother, Kathy Luce of Warren; her companion, Sam; her paternal grandparents, Marlene and Gerald Bartlett; her maternal grandparents, Emery and Larissa Bilodeau, all of Washington; her aunts and uncles, Jolene and John Murray of Nobleboro, Wade and Corena Bartlett of Washington, and Mary Nicoll of Rockland; her cousins, Alicia, Tony, Tonya, Jeffery and Wendy; many great-aunts and great-uncles; and too many friends to count.

A graveside service of love and remembrance will be held Tuesday, July 15 at 11 a.m. at Marr Cemetery on Route 105 in Washington.

Memorial donations may be made to the Preble Street Soup Kitchen, 38 Preble St., Portland, ME 04101, or PenBay Cancer Care Unit, 22 White St., Rockland, ME 04841.

Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home.
