CAMDEN – Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00am – 12:00pm for a paddle led by Board Member and avid hiker Roy Call at the St. Clair Preserve in Northport. The preserve runs along the shores of Knight Pond, offering beautiful views of the water. This paddle is part of a series of led tours — called Hike-the-Guide — that help folks engage with our new Trail Guide. If you are looking for opportunities to join other people on treks, rather than going alone, this outdoor series might be just the ticket!

Bring a boat, personal flotation device (PFD), water, and appropriate weather gear. If you would like to participate but don't have a boat, or if you have a boat with an extra seat, call our office (236-7091) and we'll try to pair folks up!

Directions: From Lincolnville Beach, take Route 1 north for 5.3 miles, then turn left onto Beech Hill Road in Northport for 2.5 miles. Take a left onto Knights Pond Road and park at the end of this dirt road by the pond. Bring water, sunscreen, and wear sturdy shoes!

To get a copy of our new Preserve Guide, consider joining the Land Trust, and we'll send one along to you. Or, stop by our office at 101 Mount Battie Street in Camden and pick one up for a suggested donation of $5.00.
