Whether you need to get your high school diploma or want to improve skills for work or college, the Five Town CSD Adult Learning Center can help. Formerly known as the GED, the HiSET High School Equivalency Diploma is accepted at colleges and employers all over the country. Five Town CSD offers a convenient drop in program, with both daytime and evening hours available. The Adult Learning Center is open flexible hours – you can drop in any time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. (closed for lunch noon-12:30 p.m.), or on Wednesdays 8:30-11 a.m. In addition, Five Town CSD offers tutoring one evening a week from 5 to 8 p.m. (day varies).

In addition to HiSET tutoring, the Adult Learning Center is available for College Transitions program support and tutoring, English as a Second Language tutoring and career support and guidance. All tutoring is on an individualized basis. Students can progress at their own pace and work on any subject they need help with. Skills books are available in the Learning Center and there are several computers for student use. There is no fee for any Learning Center tutoring.

The Learning Center is  in downtown Camden in the Superintendent's Office on Lions Lane, just off Knowlton St. near the Camden-Rockport Middle School, in the building known as the "Bus Barn". For more information call Five Town CSD Adult Ed at 236-7800, option 5.
