Girls Soccer final standings, playoff pairings announced
The 2017 girls soccer regular season has come to a close and six local teams have qualified for the playoffs.
Here are the final regular season records for all the teams in our coverage area as well as the playoff seeds and opening round playoff games.
The preliminary round will take place Friday, Oct. 20 while the quarterfinals will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24. The semifinals will be held Friday, Oct. 27 for Class D teams and Saturday, Oct. 28 for Class A and B teams. The regional finals are set for Wednesday, Nov. 1 and the state championships will held Saturday, Nov. 4.

Preliminary Round Playoff Pairings
Class A North: #1 Camden Hills receives a bye to quarterfinals; will host #8 Mount Blue.
Class B North: #14 Medomak Valley travels to #3 Winslow.
Class B North: #8 Mount View hosts #9 Hermon.
Class B North: #10 Oceanside travels to #7 Brewer.
Class D South: #3 Searsport receives a bye to quarterfinals; will host #6 Wiscasset.
Class D South: #5 Vinalhaven/North Haven receives a bye to quarterfinals; will travel to #4 Rangeley Lakes.
