BELFAST — Gerard Patrick Lee, 69, of Mission Hill and Brookline, Mass., died on the morning of Jan. 30, 2017, in Belfast.

Born Jan. 17, 1948, in Boston, Mass., to Patrick and Mary (Thornton) Lee, Jerry was the beloved father of Morgan P. Lee and Amillia M. Gaytan. He was passionate about his family and friends.

Jerry proudly served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and as a commodore in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He had a successful career as chief building engineer for the town of Brookline, retiring in 2004.

Jerry was an avid outdoorsman with a love for hunting and fishing. He founded the Lee Detective Agency and was a proud member of the West Roxbury Base State Society of Model Engineers.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at Mission Church, 1545 Tremont St. in Boston, Mass. Final resting place will be in Belfast.
