Gail Miller (Whitaker) Marple, 67 of Waldo, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2017.

She was born on September 12, 1950 in White Plains, New York, the daughter of William and Barbara (Emmans) Whitaker. Gail loved birds and her cat, Mitu. She was an avid outdoorswoman who loved exercise, especially swimming, biking and hiking. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and boating on the lake.

Gail was active in many of the area churches where she enjoyed praise and worship music.

She is predeceased by her parents. Gail is survived by her husband of 13 years, Brice Marple, of Liberty; her sons, Cedar Miller, and significant other Natalie St Pierre of Waldo, David Miller and wife Kachina of Belfast; brother Ross Whitaker, of Belfast, and her grandchildren Aspen and Clay.

Amemorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday January 6, 2018 at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, Maine. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.ripostafh.com
