BELFAST — Kennebec Valley Community College is offering an introductory technical writing course (English 108) in Belfast at no cost to students. This is a writing course designed for those interested in entering the trades and technology, but can be useful to anyone who needs to write and design documents in the workplace.

Activities will include writing resumes, cover letters, memos, instructions, technical reports, and research reports.

Class activities will include writing in a computerized writing lab; therefore, keyboarding and basic computer skills are required. Students will be required to purchase a course textbook.

This course will be held on Fridays 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., January 30 - June 5 at the Belfast Adult Education Learning Center.

Students who successfully complete the course will receive three college credits.
