Frances ‘Fran’ Elaine Field, obituary

WARREN — Frances “Fran” Elaine Field, 73, of Warren, went home to be with her Lord, Monday April 16, 2018 at the Sussman House in Rockport.  She was born April 29, 1944 in Brockton, MA to George & Helen McPhee.

Frances raised her family in Warren and was well known as a Town of Warren letter carrier.  She also worked many years as a caretaker as well as owned her own boarding home.  Frances enjoyed trips on the motorcycle with her husband, camping with friends, and traveling.  Later in life, after retirement, she and her husband enjoyed wintering in Zephyrhills, FL where they made numerous dear friends.  But the highlights of her life were spending time with her family.

She was pre deceased by her husband, George Leon Field III, her son Christy Ray Parker, her parents George & Helen McPhee, and her five brothers, Weldon, Ralph, Roy, Bill, and George Robbins.

 She is survived by her three children, daughter, Diane Kelley & her husband Mike of Warren, daughter, Carol Gifford and her companion Mike Allen of Newcastle, her son, Orrin “Mac” Parker and his wife Amber of Warren, and her three step children George Field IV and his wife Angela from Warren, Andrew Field and his companion Amy Johnson of Warren, and Mary Field from Prescott Valley AZ.  Also, she is survived by her 15 grandchildren, Angel, Larry, Gary, Tammi, Allison, Abigayle, Cason, Emily, Tasha, Lance, George, Tyler, Everett, Devin, and Chelsea and 11 great grandchildren with one on the way.  Frances is also survived by her brother Danny McPhee and his wife Becki from Washington as well as many nieces and nephews.  She leaves behind many special friends but of significance, Betty Diment of Burkettville and Wendy Morden of Port Huron, MI.

 She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visiting hours will be held at Hall Funeral Home in Waldoboro, Friday April 20, 2018 from 5-8 p.m.  Funeral services will also be held at Hall Funeral Hall in Waldoboro, Sunday April 22, 2018 at 2pm with burial to follow at Sunny View Post in Warren.
