Farmers reminded to file conservation certification by June 1

MONMOUTH — Farmers must file a Highly Erodible Land Conservation and Wetland Conservation Certification form with the USDA Farm Service Agency by June 1 to become or remain eligible for premium support on crop insurance policies in 2016.

All farmers, including specialty crop growers who do not participate in other USDA programs, must file certification form AD-1026 to maintain insurance premium support.
