Thu, 07/31/2014 - 2:45pm

ROCKLAND — Who's up for some more baseball and softball in August? If your child was on a regular season major league team in the Oceanside Little League this summer, they are eligible to participate in the Midcoast August league being formed.

It will consist of an eight game schedule and games will be completed by Aug. 31. Teams will be formed with any interested Oceanside Little League players who were on a regular season major league roster this season, and will play against teams from other leagues in the Midcoast.

If you miss being out on the field and playing the game, here's a chance to squeeze in a few more games before school starts! Any player who played major league this season and wants to play will be able to play — no tryouts. Just come to the practice/info session that follows.
