ROCKPORT — Approximately 120 businesses and community nonprofit organizations set up booths for the 2015 Business and Community Expo, hosted by the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce Wednesday.

Filling two ballrooms on the main floor and a third on the second floor, industries represented by the participating Chamber members included manufacturing, office services, building products, marketing, media, insurance and banking and funeral home services, as well as services and activities geared toward women, seniors, kids, pets, the economically challenged and the community-at-large.

The Chamber Expo was held at the Samoset Resort, where the aforementioned members, as well as crafters, artisans, designers and nonprofit organizations all set up booths, provided raffles and giveaways, and spent the afternoon meeting and greeting the public, which turned out to see what everybody had to offer.

Penobscot Bay Pilot was on hand at the Expo, giving away the new Spring 2015 Wave magazine and offering a drawing for a free 1/4-page ad in the upcoming Summer Wave magazine. The winner, drawn from a jar of entries, was Kathryn Baxter, sales manager with The Masiello Group/Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Camden. Congratulations, Kathryn!
