Eight-week bereavement group starting in Rockland

Mon, 09/01/2014 - 7:00pm

ROCKLAND — Coastal Family Hospice Volunteers is forming a peer support group for anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one. Because of increased interest and need, this is the fourth such group in 2014. The group is open to the community at large, as well as families of hospice patients. Many find that gathering together in this way can be helpful and healing.

The 8-week group will meet in Rockland from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 9 through Tuesday, Oct. 28. There is no charge for participation, but pre-registration is required.

For more information, contact Sandy Yakovenko, 372-6322, or Barbara Spalding, 236-3056.
