Drum Circle in Washington
Free public drum circle and celebration at Gibbs Library on March 17
WASHINGTON - On Sunday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Gibbs Library will host a free public Drum Circle led by Connie (Star Walker) Bellet.
Celebrate the "Ceremony of 8,000 Sacred Drums" with the Great ThunderChicken Drum. Participants are invited to bring drums, rattles or other sacred instruments, poems and songs.
A smudge ceremony will be offered at 10:45 a.m.
Gibbs Library is located at 40 Old Union Road in Washington.
