SEARSPORT — Dorothy Collins, 91, passed away March 18, 2015, after a short illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Sebec, to Mabel and Alton Porter.

She married Dallas Collins on Feb. 12, 1938. She loved fishing, snowmobiling and playing poker.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Dallas; her son, Michael; and her daughter-in-law, Rita. She is survived by her sons, Dallas and Malcolm of Searsport, and Rick and his wife, Debbie, of Swanville; seven grandchildren, Gary Collins and his wife, Kristen, of Belmont, Kim Burke and her husband, John, Mylissa and Travis Keene of Belfast, Lyndsy of Swanville, Megan Collins of Portland, Lisa and her husband, Loki, and Eric and his wife, Dedra; four great-grandchildren, Jason Burke of Searsport, Jared Burke and his friend, Kara, of Swanville, and Jeremy Collins of Tampa, Fla., and Sarah Collins and her husband, Brian, of Tampa, Fla.; her great great-grandchildren, Bryce and Miles of Tampa, Fla.; and a godchild, Odean King of Bangor.

Private services will be held in the spring.
