ROCKLAND — Dorothea I. Ames (Woodcock), of Rockland, passed quietly away at her home in Rockland on Oct. 17, 2015.

Dorothea was born Oct. 22, 1937, to Donald and Amy Woodcock of Vinalhaven, and is survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their children.

A private ceremony commemorating her life will be held at a later date.

The family asks that any monetary gifts in kind be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at cff.org.
