ROCKLAND – Derek F. Dennison, 34, died unexpectedly April 7, 2015, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Derek was a self-employed welder, working for most of his career in the automotive industry.

He leaves behind his parents, Conrad Jr. and Bonny Dennison Winchenbaugh of Rockland; his brother, Dustin Dennison and his wife, Amanda, of Gibsonville, N.C.; his nephews, Logan and Bennett; as well as many friends and extended family members.

A gathering of remembrance will be announced in the summer.
