BELFAST — Delma F. (Payson) Paul, 84, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Waldo County General Hospital.

Delma loved watching and attending sporting events. She enjoyed camping, curling, and attending Shrine events and county fairs (especially Fryeburg) where she made lifelong friends.

Delma was predeceased by her sister, Sharon Perry; her brother-in-law, Melvin Shute; and her sister-in-law, Minnie Payson.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond D. Paul Sr.; her daughters, Debra Paul, Cindy Herbig and her husband, Les, and Connie Pooler and her husband, Keith; her son, Ray Paul and his wife, Karen; her grandchildren, Monica Damon, Erica Sprague and her partner, Ryan, Troy Sprague, Erin Herbig and her husband, Joe Baiungo, Kevin Herbig and his wife, Gabrielle, Gavin Cross, Cody Cross and his fiance, Megan, Brian Cross and his partner, Isabel, and Stephen Paul; her great-grandchildren, Lauren and Emma Damon, Hailey Levangie, Owen and Finn Herbig, and Charles Herbig-Baiungo; her siblings, including her twin brother Darrell and his wife, Ann, Janice Shute, Burt Payson and his wife, Fran, Maureen Larrabee, Carold Payson and his wife, Peggy, Lauren Payson, Cherylene Labbe and her husband, Paul, Cheryl Larrabee and her husband, John; her brother-in-law, Dan Perry; her sister-in-law, Edna Blood and her husband, Stanley; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 22, at 1 p.m. at the Waldo County Shrine Club.
