Delia M. (Gombel) Scipione died Sept. 2, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent M. Scipione; and devoted mother of Helen M. Scipione of Lincolnville, Patricia D. Scipione of Canton, Mass., Karen L. Scipione of West Roxbury, Mass., Vincent M. Scipione of Canton, Mass., Mark J. Scipione of Lincolnville, James J. Scipione of West Roxbury, Mass., and the late Joseph H. Scipione.

She was a loving grandmother to Rand, Michael and Delia Nichols, Melissa Cawley, and Megan Scipione and James Scipione; and one great-grandchild, Cameron Cawley. Delia was the daughter of the late Delia (Balfe) and Henry Gombel; and daughter-in-law of the late Helen E. (Belmonte) and Domenic Scipione

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, Sept. 7, from 2 to 6 p.m. Her funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. from the Joseph Russo Funeral Home at 814 American Legion Highway (near Cummins Highway) in Roslindale, followed by a funeral mass at St. John Chrysostom Church in West Roxbury at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass.
