Dec. 7 Busline Basketball Scoreboard

The Midcoast Busline league is well underway with middle school basketball games. 

Below are the scores that have been submitted to our sports department.

8th Grade Girls: Medomak 33, Oceanside 18

The first quarter it was basket for basket. MMS was able to net eight points to Oceanside’s seven points. During the second quarter, Oceanside took the lead and scored 10 more points to give them a 17-15 advantage.

During the third quarter, MMS was unable to put the ball into the hoop and they scored only one point while Oceanside was able to score 10 more. During the last quarter, MMS scored only three and Oceanside scored six more giving Oceanside the win, 33-18.

Great defense was played be Bella LaFrance, Eliza Nelson and Hannah Lee.

8th Grade Boys: Medomak 71, Oceanside Blue 51

Ethan Reed led all scorers in MMS victory over Oceanside Blue with 31 points. 

MMS battled with Oceanside til the half, then took over a commanding lead
in the 3rd, 51-37. Oceanside did not go quietly as Adam Monroe and Nathan Coombs kept hitting shots.

In the end, MMS pulled it out 71-51.

7th Grade Boys: Medomak 40, Oceanside 21 (Dec. 6)

 The Medomak Middle School 7th grade boys team defeated Oceanside by the final score of 40-21 on Tuesday afternoon.

The young men rushed out to a 14-3 lead though were outscored in the second quarter by a 6-3 score. The second half saw Medomak extend their lead with a 14-2 advantage, the fourth quarter had Oceanside with a 10-9 advantage and the final score as noted.
