OWLS HEAD — David M. “Bobby” Hart Jr., 34, died unexpectedly Jan. 11, 2015, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, surrounded by family.

Born in Worcester, Mass., on July 14, 1980, he was the son of David M. Sr. and Darlene T. Mayo Hart. Growing up in Northboro, Mass., he attended local schools.

Always the peacemaker, Dave loved spending time with his family. He was always ready to do whatever would please others. He loved music and was accomplished at playing the acoustic guitar. His ability to accurately forecast the weather earned Dave the nick name, “Doppler Dave” among his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Darlene T. Hart and her companion, James Cooley, of Union; his father, David M. Hart Sr. and his wife, Mary, of Owls Head; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Hart of Northboro, Mass.; his daughter, Julianna L. Hart of Florida; two sisters, Diane Lindahl and her husband, Thomas, of Owls Head, and Amy “Dudes” Hart of Rockland; three nieces, April Lynne, Ava and Emma; and one nephew, Justin; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland, where a service will begin at 1 p.m. The Rev. Rick Catalano will officiate. Interment will be in the spring.
