WALDOBORO — Constance J. “Connie” Rawley, 74, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2017, with her family by her side, at the Sussman House in Rockport. Connie was born June 17, 1942, to parents Therlow and Caroline (Bowden) Heyer of Waldoboro.

On Nov. 25, 1960, Connie married the love of her life, Richard Rawley Sr., and they made their home in Waldoboro, where they raised their two children, Cynthia "Cindy," and Richard “Ricky” Jr.

Connie was employed at Miller Grade School and the Sproul Block in Waldoboro as a cook for several years.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Richard of 56 years; her mother, Caroline Heyer of Jefferson; her brother, Conrad Heyer and his wife, Cathy, of Rockport; her daughter, Cindy Reppucci and her husband, Chuck, of Windsor; and her son, Ricky and his wife, Haydee, of Frederick, Md. She is also survived by four grandchildren; a great-grandson; along with several nieces, nephews and an extended family.

Per Connie's request there will be a private graveside service at a later date.

The family requests that donations be made in Connie's memory to Waldoboro Public Library, 958 Main Street, Waldoboro, ME 04572.
