FRANKFORT — Conrad Anderson, 86, of Frankfort, passed away on Feb. 2, 2017. Conrad was born April 22, 1930, in Holden, Mass., to Carl A. and Jeanette (Ward) Anderson.

Conrad graduated from Searsport High School. He was a lance corporal in the Marines and served in the Korean War as a sharpshooter. He liked classical music and sports, loved to play chess, and was a skilled carpenter.

Conrad was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Alfred and Elbert Anderson; and his sisters, Matilda Fugere and Phyllis Scales. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Clydella; his children, Carl A. Anderson, Dale Anderson and Lynn Anderson; his grandchildren, Jonathan and David Anderson, Joseph Sawyer and his wife, Stephanie, Crystal Burlingame and her husband, Andrew, and Nicole Kraus; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 7 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast. Dr. Jerry Mick will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Tom Channell. Burial will take place in the spring.
