Come Boating! Adventure Series concludes with film ‘Losing Sight of Shore’

BELFAST — The Come Boating! Adventure Series concludes on Tuesday April 17 at 6:30 p.m. with a film presentation of Losing Sight of Shore in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library.

This documentary follows the extraordinary journey of four brave women known as the Coxless Crew that set out to row the Pacific Ocean from America to Australia unsupported. As they row over 8,000 miles during their nine months at sea, they face extreme mental and physical challenges. Losing Sight of Shore is a story of perseverance, friendship and the power of the human spirit. Everyone has a Pacific to cross.

This special screening is made possible with support from Front Street Shipyard. Come Boating! Belfast's Community Boating Organization and the Belfast Free Library are cosponsoring this event which is free and open to the public.
