BELFAST — Clair F. Bagley, 92, of Belfast, passed away March 18, 2017. He was born Jan 20, 1925, in Hartland, to Madeline (Stubbs) and Thomas Edwin Bagley Sr.

Clair was a World War II survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. He was a life member of Quantabacook Masonic Lodge in Searsmont; had just received his 50-year medal from Grand Lodge of Maine; was Past Patron of Arbutus Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Liberty; was Past Noble Grand of Sears Lodge of Odd Fellows in Searsport; and a member of Knyvetta Rebekah Lodge in Searsport. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW of Belfast.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Gertrude; his son, Jeffrey M. Bagley; and three brothers, Richard, Vernon and Thomas E. Bagley Jr.

Clair is survived by his daughters, Faye Ward and her husband, Thurlow, of Searsport, and Judith Fenwick of Belfast; his daughter-in-law, June Bagley of Fort Worth, Texas; his sister-in-law, Evelyn Bagley of Albion; six grandchildren, Jeremy and Adam Ward, Lori Thole, Nicole Sanborn, Dereck Bagley and Caitlin Hootes; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Linda Lord.

There will be no public services as per Clair's wishes.
