High School Players connect with younger players

HOPE — As part on an ongoing community service project, high school players from the Camden Hills boys and girls soccer programs will serve as volunteer coaches in the PITCH's fall outdoor recreational/introductory soccer program at True Park in Hope.

For five Saturdays, they will assist PITCH instructors Robbie Krul, Dwight Pitcairn and Dan Williams as they introduce Pre-K through second graders to the wonderful game of soccer.

This is always one of the highlights of the soccer season. Our High School players get the opportunity to help light the fire for the youngest members of our community and they also help give back to the community and programs that have been so influential in their own personal development.

Ryan Hurley is the head coach of the boys soccer team at Camden Hills Regional High School.
