Children’s Museum opens Clynk account to celebrate Earth Day

ROCKLAND — In order to celebrate Earth Day, the Coastal Children's Museum has opened a Hannaford Community Cash account powered by Clynk to help promote recycling in the community. This Clynk account will allow families to recycle and donate to their favorite children's museum all at the same time.

Coastal Children's Museum will use the funds earned to help design, plant, and maintain its new garden exhibits, which will be starting after the snow melts.

Pick up one (or two) green Clynk bags and custom bag tags at the Coastal Children's Museum. Bring it home, then fill it up with any returnable items. After the bag is full, put the Museum's tag on it and bring it to a Clynk station at any participating Hannaford Supermarket.

Those who already have a Clynk account can access their Clynk account online, browse communities for the Coastal Children's Museum, then donate Clynk funds or bags directly to the Museum's account.

For more information, email the museum at programs@coastalchildrensmuseum.org, phone 596-0300 or message them on Facebook. Located at 75 Mechanic Street in Rockland, the Coastal Children's Museum is open Wednesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. all year long.
