NORTHPORT - Cheryl A. Drinkwater, 66, of Northport, passed away Jan. 11, 2017, in Bangor. She was born in Stewart Manor, N.Y., on June 26, 1950, to Thomas and Joan (Schlecting) Nolan.

She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed kayaking, arts and crafts, and gardening.

She was predeceased by her father. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 45 years, David Drinkwater of Northport; one son, Sean Drinkwater and his wife, Jussi, of Somerville, Mass.; her mother, Joan D. Nolan of Arizona; a brother, Thomas B. Nolan III and his wife, Joan, of Texas; and two nephews, Thomas B. Nolan IV and Craig Nolan.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
