ROCKPORT — The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is once again accepting exhibitor applications for their Annual Business AND Community Expo, which is scheduled for April 8.

From premier banking opportunities to printer technology, from security systems to event and conference venues, the latest products, services and technologies will be touted by local and regional companies at The PBRCC Annual Business and Community Expo Wednesday, April 8. The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.

The Expo is a "one-stop-shop" for busy professionals seeking cost- and time-effective ways to achieve greater productivity and efficiency while growing their bottom line, according to a news release.

Visitors can learn about the latest offerings in the local marketplace while making valuable connections with current and prospective vendors.

In addition to providing a venue for area businesses to showcase their products and services, the Expo will again feature a special section for nonprofit organizations.

"The Loft was a very successful addition that has proven to be a valuable tool in allowing non-profit participation at a reduced rate. We hope that this will continue to enhance their collective opportunity to promote their missions and programs," said event organizer, Alicia Bagnall in the news release.

The Expo provides an opportunity for companies to meet prospective clients, customers, or members and to mingle and network with fellow chamber members and area businesses.

Attendance at the Expo is open to the general public and admittance is free. A Business After Hours reception, sponsored by the Samoset (cash bar) will be held from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
