MORRILL — Carmen Roy, 73, of Morrill, passed peacefully on June 21, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint Medard, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Ulric and Alice (Rioux) Dube. Carmen was also predeceased by her brother, Pierre Dube of Connecticut.

Carmen is remembered as a loving and devoted housewife, and a wonderful mother and a caregiver to her husband, Ronald. After her children were grown, Carmen worked for 17 years at Ducktrap River Fish Farm, where she made many friends who remain to this day.

She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, especially during the holidays. She leaves a diverse collection of recipes, which she shared with family and friends.

Carmen leaves behind her husband, Ronald; her son, Ron and his wife, Laurie; her daughter, Monique and her husband, Jerry; four granddaughters, Amanda, Christie, Sarai and Kendra; and one grandson, Levi; along with two great-granddaughters and six great-grandsons.

She also leaves six siblings, Serge Dube and wife, Annette, Gabriel Dube and wife, Jean, Marie Paule Brown, Nicole Dube and her partner, Marcel Labrie, Joanne Gleason and husband, Michael, and Michelle Dube; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her family invites friends to gather on Thursday, June 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at St Francis of Assisi, with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall.
