MARSHFIELD, MASS. — Carl M. 'Marty' Mosher, 48, died unexpectedly at his home here, Monday, July 31, 2017.

Born in Massachusetts, June 15, 1969, he was the son of Edward F. and Estelle Harrington Mosher. His family first lived in Hanover until Marty was ten, at which time they moved to Norwell. He was a 1987 graduate of Norwell High School and later earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Maine at Orono.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served throughout most of his enlistment in Germany. Marty worked several years as a clerk with State Street Bank in Boston. Marty was an avid, accomplished skier and for most of his adult life played on Men's Hockey Leagues in the Boston area.

Pre-deceased by his mother in 2004, Marty is survived by his father Edward and his wife Carol of Norwell, MA; his brother Jonathan P. Mosher of Norwood, MA; his uncle Arthur 'Bud' Mosher and his wife Patricia of Pembroke, MA, as well as several extended family members.
