ROCKPORT — Two candidates are seeking to fill one seat on the Rockport Select Board, and five candidates are running for two chairs on the Rockport Library Committee. Elections will take place at the polls June 14, the day prior to annual Town Meeting.

Incumbent Tracy Murphy has returned her nomination papers for reelection to her current seat on the town’s five-member Select Board. Another candidate, Brendan Riordan, has also stepped forward to compete for the same seat.

Five candidates are vying to fill two open seats on the five-member Library Committee. The candidates Ann Filley, Stephanie Kumble, William Frohlich, Brooke Kehoe and Paul Charbonneau are competing for the seats currently occupied by Cate Monroe and Stephanie Kumble.

Jan Rosenbaum is the only candidate to take out, and return, papers for the Budget Committee.

No one, apparently, is running for the empty seat on School Administrative District 28 (Camden-Rockport School Board) and the Five Town CSD (Camden Hills Regional High School School Board).
