Camden’s first Farmer’s Market of the year

CAMDEN — The first Camden Farmer’s Market kicked off the year in the Knox Mill parking area on Saturday, May 6. Some clouds greeted those browsing the booths as the fog began to roll in, but it did not dampen the spirits of the vendors as they explained their wares. Miners Creek Bluegrass Band provided the music adding a festive feel to the market.

The following list and photo gallery highlights the day’s people and farms. Everything from smoked meats, maple syrup, fresh vegetables and herbs, beads and sweets, plants, yogurt, cheeses, mushrooms and even water buffalo.
