CAMDEN — Camden’s new town manager, Audra Caler-Bell, has hired the town’s new finance director, who will step into the position Aug. 7.

Caler-Bell said July 14 that Rockport resident Jodi Richards Hanson, who has been working at the Lincolnville Town Office for approximately 20 years, will be the Camden Finance Director.

“Her years of municipal finance and broad range of experience at a higher level will combine with what’s expected in Camden in running the office,” said Caler-Bell. “I think she is going to be a fantastic fit here in Camden. She understands the community and has great skills.”

“"I'm extremely grateful to be offered the opportunity to serve the town of Camden as its new finance director,” said Hanson. “I'm excited to begin this new phase of my professional life,”

Hanson’s salary will be $62,876, with benefits. She will begin the job just when Town Manager Caler-Bell takes a one-month maternity leave. Per Camden custom, the interim town manager during that month will fall onto the shoulders of Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne.
