Camden Hills Regional High School to host New England drama festival

    ROCKPORT — This past weekend, 18 schools competed for the State Championship, and the honor of representing Maine at the New England Drama Festival, to be held at Camden Hills Regional HS in Rockport, April 23-25.

    At the Class A Finals (at Bangor High School) Cape Elizabeth High School was the winner, and Bangor the runner-up. 

    At the Class B Finals (at Stearns High School) Yarmouth was the winner and Lincoln Academy the runner-up. 

    Yarmouth and Cape Elizabeth will represent Maine at the New England Festival.

    Seventy-eight schools competed in the Regionals March 6-7 with 18 schools advancing to the two finals. Approximately 3,000 students participate in the annual event.
