CAMDEN - Saturday, April 15, saw the Camden Hills Varsity Girls Softball team in a double header with Ellsworth. The games were a 1-1 split for the  Windjammers.

Game 1 Ellsworth 24; Camden 0
Starting pitcher for Camden’s Emily Long; three strike outs, four walks and eight earned runs.
Closing pitcher Grace O'Connell had five walks and 16 earned runs.

Not a great start for the Windjammers against an aggressive Ellsworth. Strong pitching and a good outfield seemed to shut down the lady Windjammers early in the game. The Windjammers bounced back in the second game and pulled out a hard fought victory 4-6 at the games end.

Game 2: Ellsworth 4; Camden 6
Starting pitcher for Camden Emily Long had three strike outs and five walks with four earned runs.
Lauren Miller was two for three with two RBI's in the first big hitter for Camden.
