ROCKPORT — The student athletes at Camden Hills Regional High School were out in force April 14, with baseball and softball scrimmages, boys lacrosse and track and field in full practice.

The baseball team hosted Mt. Ararat of Topsham as did the girls softball team.

Meanwhile on Don Palmer Field, the boys lacrosse team, with new head coach Marc Hannibal, was hard at work while the large track team worked on some running, lifting and throwing drills.

The baseball and softball teams will open their seasons Wednesday, April 23, when they travel to Oceanside.

The boys lacrosse team opens April 28, when they host Lincoln Academy.

Track and field will hold its only home meet this Friday, April 18, at 3:30 pm with Belfast, Boothbay, Erskine Academy of South China, Medomak Valley of Waldoboro and Oceanside. The first meet will also honor the seniors because it is the only home meet.
