BELFAST — Bruce Wayne Seekins Sr., 48, of Belfast, passed away on Nov. 10, 2014, in Portland. He was born Dec, 29, 1965, son of the late Harold Burton and Berdena (Hubbard) Seekins Sr.

Bruce attended Searsport area schools as well as Waldo County Technical Center in the forestry program. After graduating in 1985, he went on to work in the wood business for many years.

Bruce is survived by his companion of 22 years, Cynthia Moody; a son, Bruce Seekins Jr.; two daughters, Cindy Moody and Janice Moody; four grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Seekins and his wife, Nancy, and Michael Seekins and his wife, Terrie; two sisters, Cheryl Seekins Harriman and her husband, Marshall, and Cindy Seekins Skinner and her husband, Jon; six nieces and two nephews; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. at Searsport Full Gospel Church. Private interment will be held.
