SEARSPORT — Brad Pomeroy, 35, passed away on Sept. 3, 2016. Born in Belfast, he grew up in Bucksport and then Searsport.

Brad was a true outdoorsman. He was a fisherman by trade and a hard worker. He enjoyed golf and was the most loving, giving, helpful person who would always help those in need.

Brad was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Loretta Pomeroy; his aunt, Loana and Lewis Reed; his uncle, Eugene Pomeroy and Jamie Renalds, and his uncle, Ricky Pomeroy.

Surviving are his mother, Audrey Pomeroy; his father, Harold Tracy; his step-father, Rick Gainer Sr; his sister, Naiome Krienke and her husband, Nick; his brother, Richard Gainer Jr. and his wife, Brittany; his sister, Maria Gainer and her husband, Zack Joseph; his nieces and nephews, Tigerlily, Naya, Hope, Eve, Leyah, Fiona, Jazmyn, CJ, Kaydence, Dakota, Kavin, Serenity and Ezra. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, with a visitation, from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a noon prayer service at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast. Burial will follow in Mt. Recluse Cemetery in Stockton Springs.
