Arrests

On Sept. 22 at 4:52 p.m. on Eastern Ave., Officer Chryplewicz arrested Adam Giles, 25, Boothbay, for violation of conditions of release.

On Sept. 23 at 12:10 a.m. on the By Way, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Adam Brewer, 30, Edgecomb, for operating under the influence.

On Sept. 26 at 10:15 p.m. on Oak St., Officer Upham arrested Keith Daniels, 29, Augusta, for obstruction of government administration.

Summary Report

From Sept. 25  through Oct. 16, BHPD responded to 271 calls. The department conducted one drug investigation, seven 9-1-1 checks, 24 property checks, one pedestrian check, 27 compliance checks, 44 motor vehicle stops, 29 escort/transports, three welfare checks, and community policing 12 times; attempted to locate one person, assisted eight citizens and two other agencies, controlled traffic 20 times, and received police information five times; and responded to four animal complaints, one assault, eight burglar alarms, one criminal mischief report, one erratic operation, one fire, three fire alarms, one fight, one harassment report,  four LCRC intakes, three loud noises, one littering, 24 medical emergencies, one medical alarm, five motor vehicle accidents, three parking problems, nine reports of found/lost property, eight reports of suspicious activity, one threat, and six theft/forgery/fraud reports..
