Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Sept. 8-15. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Sept. 8

    Branden A. Bailey, 21, of Palermo, was arrested for operating under the influence on Belmont Avenue.

    Christopher H. Huber, 54, of Acton, was issued a summons for operating without license (beyond condition/restriction) on Route 1.

    Sept. 10

    Alicia P. Natchie, 29, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 69 mph in a 45 mph zone on Back Belmont Road.

    Sept. 11

    Abby T. Henson, 21, of Rockland, was issued a summons for speeding 71 mph in a 40 mph zone on Northport Avenue.

    Sept. 12

    Colleen M. Wellman, 42, of Lincolnville, was arrested for operating under the influence on Searsport Avenue. Wellman was also issued summonses for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle and operator possessing an open container, drinking in a motor vehicle.

    Sept. 13

    Travis M. Smith, 35, of Northport, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Small Road.
