BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Aug. 12-21. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

Aug. 12

Philip J. Smit, 21, of Lawrence, Mass., was issued a summons for speeding 53 mph in a 35 mph zone on Main Street. 

Aug. 17

Robert McKinney, 20, of Belfast, was issued a summons for illegal possession of a minor (via consumption) on High Street. 

Aug. 18

Shane L. Thibodeau, 45, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Penobscot Terrace. 

Charles C. Beckell, 29, of Troy, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct on Church Street. 

Francs E. Richardson, 20, of Swanville, was issued a summons for harassment on Church Street. 

Alex C. Blair, 22, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Main Street. 

Aug. 19

Brad E. Pomeroy, 34, of Machiasport, was issued a summons for sale and use of drug paraphernalia. 

Aug. 20

Byrlynne Ellis, 36, of Belfast, was issued a summons for obstructing a public way on Main Street. 

Aug. 21

Amy M. Cunningham, 23, of Brooks, was arrested for unpaid fines.
