Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity May 10-15. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    May 10

    Michael D. Thompson, 41, of Belfast, was issued a summons for keeping a dangerous dog on Bridge Street.

    May 11

    Barbara Kunkel, 70, of Alfred, was issued a summons for speeding 69 mph in a 55 mph zone on Belmont Avenue. 

    Katie R. Van Scoy, 31, of Bucksport, was arrested for operating under the influence, failure to stop for an officer, driving to endanger and operating after suspension on Main Street. 

    May 12

    Emmy Jo Paquette, 31, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating without a license and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Penobscot Terrace.

    Lindsey A. Ward, 18, of Swanville, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Swan Lake Avenue. 

    May 14

    Joshua T. McHugh, 26, of Monroe, was issued a summons for failure to register a vehicle (30-150 days) on Swan Lake Avenue.

    May 15

    Lois J. McFarlin, 68, of Manassas, Va., was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.
